Fully renovated in 2009 by the innovative interior designer Vanessa Wood, all 46 bures reflect an elegant plantation style with all the necessary luxuries. Bright and always capturing stunning ocean views, the bures at Malolo are fully air-conditioned, include en suite bathrooms, plenty of amenities, and are just steps from some of the most beautiful sand in all of Fiji.
Set back amongst the beautiful tropical gardens of the island, all 28 Oceanview Bures are 355 square feet (30 square meters) and feature spacious verandas designed perfectly for stunning ocean views. Equipped with all the standard amenities, the bures are ideal for couples or a family of 4 (plus an infant). Two single day beds are provided in addition to the lavish king-sized bed and are positioned to offer privacy. There is also a small area for relaxing, and plenty of additional room out on the veranda where you will find comfortable and well-appointed furniture. With two paying guests, Malolo allows up to an additional two guests plus an infant at no additional charge. Which makes this bure perfect for families. Sleeps a maximum of 4 guests plus an infant under 2 years old.
The 12 Deluxe Oceanview Bures on Malolo Island Resort are 540 square feet (50 square meters) with large verandas and offer first class views of the turquoise ocean surrounding the island. Larger in size than the Oceanview Bures, the deluxe bures offer more seating room, three closets, and are large enough to accommodate up to 4 guests with ease. The private king sized bed is situated in the main bedroom, and 2 singles can be placed in the spacious living area. Sleeps a maximum of 4 guests plus an infant.
With only 2 on the island, the Tadra Beach Bures are the ultimate dream house, perfect for a romantic getaway or honeymoon. Nestled away on the most private part of the beach and right on the edge of the ocean, the 540 square foot (50 square meters) hideaway features striking views from the comfort of the 150 square foot (14 square meters) veranda. Equipped with all the standard amenities, including a gorgeous en suite bathroom, a king-sized four-poster bed with sheers, and two day beds in the spacious living area. When you arrive to the bure, you will be greeted by a marvelous bottle of Australian sparkling wine and a scrumptious fruit platter. The bure is set up perfectly for couples and not recommended for children. Sleeps a maximum of 2 adults.
The 4 Family Bures at Malolo are perfect for large families and groups. All bures include 2 bedrooms, 2 stylish bathrooms, a spacious living area with 3 daybeds, and a roomy verandah decorated with comfortable furniture. The bures come with breathtaking views. Two of the bures are 1,075 square feet (100 square meters) and feature a 215 square foot (20 square meters) verandah. These two-story bures include two bedrooms with one en suite and one main bathroom accessible from the living area. The others are just a little smaller and spread across a single floor, with 990 square feet (90 square meters) of living area and a 200 square foot (18 square meters) verandah. Each bedroom has a king-sized bed and an en suite bathroom. Sleeps a maximum of 7 guests.

Malolo Island offers a few different dining options, whether you’re looking for a casual snack at their famous beach bar or a candlelit dinner under the palm trees. The cuisine is always superb highlighting Asian and Pacific Rim dishes, which pair beautifully with the tropical Fiji atmosphere. The staff makes it a priority to incorporate seasonal produce (some picked fresh off the island) and local seafood. Chefs are ready to accommodate those with dietary restrictions – just give us a heads up in advance! You can pay as you go but the Venture Fiji experts highly recommend a full Malolo Meal Plan to create an All-Inclusive experience.
Surrounded by the lush gardens of the island, The Terrace Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and always provides a sweet view of the beautiful resort pools. Indulge in the delicious buffet or opt for something off the a la carte menu. The chefs like to change up the menu and keep things lively, offering a different themed buffet every night. On Saturday nights, The Terrace Restaurant remains open, as staff prepare for a celebration of vibrant Fijian culture. All guests are invited to come by for delicious cocktails, an authentic Fijian meal, decadent desserts, and a one of a kind experience!
If you’re looking for a succulent dinner in a serene atmosphere, check at the Treetops Restaurant and Bar. Not only is the bar open till 11pm, but the resort asks that parents only dine with children over 13. Perched high in the coconut trees and overlooks the magnificent resort pools. The menus are a la carte, change daily, and work to take your taste buds on a journey. It is more formal than the other restaurants on the island in service and vibe, but still casually comfortable.
Open for lunch and dinner, the Beach Bar is a fun casual spot to stop by for a scrumptious meal and drinks on the warm white sand. You’ll find dishes like beer-battered fish and chips, gourmet pizza, and other delicious meals. During the evenings, the resort hosts games for all ages. It’s a great spot to mingle with other guests and relax – toes in sand! Malolo’s Beach Bar is well known throughout the islands and is a wonderful island venue.

The Spa at Malolo focuses on treatments that will nurture your spirit and help restore balance to your body. There are three different open aired bures dedicated to your relaxation, with one designed specifically for couples. The skilled therapists use a combination of raved about Pure Fiji products and natural extracts grown right on the island, such as floral extracts and fresh coconut milk.
