VERY IMPORTANT

Venture Fiji recommends that you purchase a travel protection plan.

 

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Travel documents and tickets, transfer and departure details will be sent approximately two weeks prior to departure, after receipt of final payment.

Note: Entry to another country may be refused even if the required Information and Travel Documents are valid and complete.

 

FIJI VISA INFORMATION

US and Canadian Citizens: No visa is required. A visitor permit valid for 4 months is issued on arrival. Travelers must hold a passport valid at least six months on entry with one blank visa page and hold proof of onward/return flights. All other passport holders please ask your Venture Fiji Travel Speicialist for details.

 

US STATE DEPARTMENT INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL RESOURCES

The Fiji Islands are a very safe and welcoming destination. However, prior to any international travel we recommend that you check the State Department’s Website for any warnings or alerts related to international travel or specific countries in your itinerary.

 

TRAVEL HEALTH INFORMATION

For the most current worldwide health information, including travel alerts for specific destinations due to the Zika Virus, consult your family physician. Travelers should also refer to the official website for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or call the CDC at 1.800.232.4636 for full details prior to travel. You’ll find information on recent outbreaks, required vaccinations, safe food and water tips, insect protection, illness and injury abroad, and more.

 


 

PRICING POLICY

All prices are quoted in US dollars. Because of the potential volatility of global exchange rates, we recommend you confirm our price at time of booking. Prices have been calculated based on tariffs and rate of exchange at time of publication. Prices may be subject to change in the event of significant currency fluctuations, the introduction of new taxes, and/or fuel surcharges up until final payment is received. Once we have received your deposit you would be given the opportunity to pay in full to avoid a price increase (should it occur) or cancel your booking without penalty. Once final payment is received, all prices will be guaranteed. If the total price of the travel services is increased and the cumulative increase, except any increase in retail sales tax or federal goods and services tax, is more than 7%, the customer has the right to cancel and obtain a full refund. Please note any local fees may still increase.

 

DEPOSITS

All bookings require a minimum NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of at least $600 per person (possibly higher depending on your itinerary and the resorts selected), due at time of booking. Reservations which include airfare for international flights, require full payment for the current price of the flights as well. The deposit will not be processed unless we have your itinerary confirmed as requested. Some tours and arrangements can require a higher deposit and earlier final payment. The exact amount will be advised at the time of booking. Insurance, which is recommended, must be paid in full when purchased and must be purchased prior to final payment.

 

BALANCE OF PAYMENT

The balance of your Fiji vacation or Fiji honeymoon will be due in full at least 45 days prior to departure (potentially 60 days depending upon the resorts selected). For bookings within 45 days of departure, full payment will be due within 5 business days of your Fiji confirmation. Clients are free to pay in installments at any time before your final payment due date. Confirmation of your payment will be noted and applied to your invoice amount. If the balance is not paid by the stipulated date, the right is reserved to cancel the booking(s) without further notice and without refund of deposit.

 

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations received more than 45-75 days prior to departure will incur loss of the non-refundable deposit as specified above. Cancellations are subject to fees of at least $500 per person after payment of your deposit and some resort deposits and airline tickets are non-refundable. If cancellation occurs within 45 -75 days prior of your departure date (depending upon the resort), the fee is at least $500 per person, plus any other penalties (up to 40% of package price for cancellations 75-61 days prior to departure and 60% – 100% for cancellations less than 61-31 days prior to departure, see resort cancellation policy for specific details), and any other applicable supplier and resort charges. Client requested changes made after booking will incur a change fee of at least $50 per passenger plus any applicable supplier charges. Select resorts charge non-refundable deposits and charge full payment if cancelled within 60 days of arrival. Other specific supplier and airline cancellation penalties may apply in addition to cancellation and amendment fees charged by Venture Fiji and its industry partners and affiliates. There will be no refund for unused land arrangements after departure from North America. All cancellations required in writing.

 

INSURANCE

We recommend that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Travel protection plans can include coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay and more. Please Note: To be eligible for the waiver of pre-existing medical condition exclusion, the protection plan must be purchased within 15 days (Travel Basic) or 21 days (Travel Select) from the time you make your initial trip deposit. However, the plan can be purchased any time prior to departure.

FORCE MAJEURE

Venture Fiji, or its affiliates, shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever, resulting from events beyond our or a supplier’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts or other labor disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, floods or acts or restraints imposed by government authorities.

 

LIVING STANDARDS AND PRACTICES AT THE DESTINATION

These may differ from those found in your country of Origin. The standards and conditions there with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation may also differ from those found in your country of origin.

 

AMENDMENT FEES

Once a booking has been made, any change is subject to a communications fee of $25 per change. Once documents have been issued, any change will be subject to a minimum administration fee of $50 in addition to communications charges.

 

OPERATOR’S RESPONSIBILITY

Venture Fiji, Latitude Ventures, LLC, and/or their agents or suppliers, act only as agents for the client in all matters pertaining to travel. They assume no responsibility nor liability in connection with the service of any train, vessel, carriage, aircraft, motor or other conveyances which may be used, either wholly or in part, in the performance of its duty to the passenger; neither will it be responsible for any act, error, or omission, or any injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any defect in any vehicle or through the neglect or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger; or for any hotel proprietor, or hotel service, or for any other person engaged in carrying out the purpose for which tickets or coupons are issued.

In the event that it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or wellbeing of the passengers, or for any reason whatsoever, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to the operators. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passengers, conversely refund will be made to the passengers if any saving is effected thereby. The Airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event, during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyance. The passage contract in use by the Airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the Airlines and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. The right is reserved to withdraw any or all tours should conditions warrant, also to decline to accept or retain any passengers as members of the tours. Venture Fiji, Latitude Ventures, LLC, or agents or suppliers can assume no responsibility for lost tickets or coupons.

 

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS (AIR TRAVEL)

Federal law forbids the carriage of hazardous materials aboard aircraft in your luggage or on your person. A violation can result in five years’ imprisonment and penalties of $250,000 or more (49 U.S.C. 5124). Hazardous materials include explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives and radioactive materials. Examples: Paints, lighter fluid, fireworks, tear gases, oxygen bottles, and radio-pharmaceuticals. There are special exceptions for small quantities (up to 70 ounces total) of medicinal and toilet articles carried in your luggage and certain smoking materials carried on your person. If you do not understand these restrictions, contact your airline or go online to www.faa.gov.

 

INSECTICIDE NOTICE (AIR TRAVEL)

All passengers should always check the list of countries that require airlines to treat the passenger cabin with insecticides prior to the flight or while on the aircraft on the DOT’s website, as this list is updated from time to time: www.dot.gov.

 

INDUSTRY PARTNERS & AFFILIATES

Venture Fiji, a subsidiary of Latitude Ventures, LLC, books travel for its customers through its affiliates and industry partners which include: Fiji Airways, various wholesale suppliers and Rosie Holidays. Many of our terms and conditions are dictated by our travel partners.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By making a reservation, customer acknowledges that in all events, Venture Fiji, its suppliers or affiliates, shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages and that the sole extent of Venture Fiji’s liability, if any, shall never exceed the amount actually paid by customer to Venture Fiji.

 

ARBITRATION

Any dispute arising out of, or relating to, any vacations offered shall be submitted to non-binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act. To the extent that the Federal Arbitration Act either is inapplicable or held not to require arbitration of a particular claim or claims, Florida law pertaining to agreements to arbitrate shall apply and the arbitration shall be conducted under the terms of Florida Civil Procedure. Each party shall pay for its own costs, arbitration fees and attorneys’ fees, if any.

 

BEST PRICE GUARANTEE

Venture Fiji’s Best Price Guarantee means you will always get the lowest possible package price at Fiji’s finest luxury resorts. Our Best Price Guarantee is subject to the following Terms and Conditions:

  • If you find a better package price available online (after taxes and fees) for exactly the same stay (same resort, same dates, same number of guests, same room category and same things included) and as long as you notify us within 24 hours of booking, we’ll match it! Venture Fiji can’t match prices displayed in limited-time flash sales or listed as “from” or “starting at” a certain price.

To qualify – The competitor’s price:

  • Must be identical in all regards to your Venture Fiji booking, with all details visible on the competitor’s website
  • Must be quoted in the same currency (and without the use of a currency converter) including fees and taxes but excluding any credit card fees
  • Must be for the same resort, on the same dates, and for the same room type (including configuration of beds), number of travelers and inclusions (breakfast or full board, free transfers, etc.) as your Venture Fiji booking
  • Must have the same booking and cancellation conditions
  • Must be for an existing booking and may not be cancelled
  • Must be a stand-alone rate, not part of a bundle or package
  • Must be from a website that can confirm the booking and accept payments
  • Must not be offered on competitors’ membership program websites; corporate discounts or rates; group, charter, rewards program, incentive, meeting, convention, consolidator or interline prices; prices obtained via auction or similar process
  • Must not come from a website where you call to get the rate, or from an e-mail that you received
  • Must not be from an unauthorized travel agent or reseller (for example, eBay) or prices offered under promotion with a third party
  • Must not require the redemption of a voucher or coupon
  • Must not be prices that are lower as a result of a mistake by the resort or competitor
  • Must be prices that Venture Fiji is unable to verify using reasonable means
  • Must not be any bookings made for the same hotel on consecutive dates

To claim your Best Price Guarantee – Please send us the following information within 24 hours of booking:

  • A screenshot of the better price that clearly shows the full competitor website and all booking information (including the booking date, travel dates, and total rate for your length of stay after all taxes and fees)
  • Claims need to be made by the person who booked the resort and claimants must be 18 years old or above
  • Subject to Change – We reserve the right in our sole discretion to modify or discontinue Venture Fiji’s Best Price Guarantee or to restrict its availability to any person, at any time, for any or no reason, and without prior notice or liability to you. The terms that are in effect at the time of your claim will determine your eligibility under the guarantee. No change in Venture Fiji’s Best Price Guarantee will affect any voucher that has already been issued to you. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

 

MILITARY AND VETERANS DISCOUNT

As a small token of our gratitude, active duty members, reserve military personnel, and veterans receive 10% off their Hotel/Resort accommodations booked through Venture Fiji. Individuals eligible to receive discount include former, current and retired members of the US Military, National Guard and Reserves in the United States. Military discount is not combinable with other promotional pricing.
