WHAT DOCUMENTS WILL I NEED TO TRAVEL TO FIJI?
All visitors are required to hold a valid passport with an expiration at least six months beyond the date of your intended departure from Fiji. Your first and last name on your passport must match your international air tickets exactly. You will also be asked to present your passport to clear “customs” upon arrival in Fiji and upon return to the U.S. from the Fiji Islands.
Citizens of the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, European Union and South Africa are issued a four month tourist visa upon entry into Fiji. You will not need to arrange this in advance. This visa can also be extended by two months, if necessary.
Note: Citizens of all other countries may need a visa in addition to a valid passport and should consult the nearest Fijian Consulate, Fijian Embassy, or the Fiji Board of Tourism as early as possible because it can take several weeks to obtain a visa.
INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT CONFIRMATIONS
Please note that Customs Regulations require that you present a paper receipt or paper evidence of your international flight confirmations to prove that you have a return flight out of Fiji for your return home. This does not have to be an airline ticket but must be a verifiable copy of your air ticket receipt indicating the flights and your airline “record locator” number.
No immunization certificates are required unless you are coming from, or have visited, a country representing a risk of yellow fever. With all international travel, it is wise to check with the CDC website or your country’s equivalent for health questions.
